Airlines from around the world gather in Dubai for another edition of Airbus FAN LAB

This month Airbus hosted another edition of its FAN LAB (Fleet & Network LAB). Held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from December 3rd–5th the event was attended by over 30 participants from 18 airlines around the world, of which Air Algerie, Egyptair, Emirates, Ethiopian, Flynas, Gulf Air, Jazeera Airways, Libyan Airlines, Oman Air, Royal Jordanian, Saudia and SauiGulf represented this region. Airlines from other regions included American Airlines, China Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Novo Air, Royal Brunei & Turkish Airlines.

Since 2006, FANS events have offered airlines a unique opportunity to improve their understanding of the latest market trends and long-term planning activities in:

  • Traffic analysis and forecasting
  • Network planning
  • Fleet planning; and
  • Strategic planning

Airbus FAN LAB is an excellent forum to exchange views and experiences about different approaches, methods and tools with those who work in fleet planning, financial analysis, and network planning.

Managed by Airbus’ own experts, the event is an interactive platform that allows Airbus and airline staff to share their experiences through a series of presentations, practical workshops, simulations and discussions.
